Due to illness this was a replacemet lecture given by the internationally renowned art historian Douglas Skeggs and was unanimously given an "Outstanding" rating at the exit poll.

An interesting comment after the lecture: "Fascinating for a Furniture Design Student from the Royal College of Art to learn of Betty Joel for the first time" Another member said "So good to hear about someone completely new. Enjoyed the anecdotes and personal connection of Clive Stewart Lockhart to Betty Joel"
